Annual Awards Dinner

Tickets are $50 per person or a table of 10 for $450. Hope to see you there! Be sure to note your meal choice, either Stuffed Boneless Chicken Breast or Braised Portuguese Steak – Chicken will be served to those who do not select a meal.

For one week in September, hundreds of people in Greater New Bedford came together to LIVE UNITED. Whether they held signs, participated in Day of Caring, or dined out, they reminded us how important it is to come together to accomplish things no one can do alone.

17th Annual Clambake with Lobster Fundraiser

The 17th Annual Clambake with Lobster was our most successful ever, thanks to our generous sponsors – Hygrade Ocean Products (Capatain Sponsor), Rockland Trust (First Mate Sponsor) and Freitas Package Store (Premier Bar Sponsor), as well as the 650 supporters who attended the event! Attendees enjoyed a traditional New England Clambake, an incredible silent auction, and live music and dancing.

Youth Day of Caring
Friday, May 13th
United Way’s 16th Annual Youth Day of Caring provided 165 student volunteers from 7 area high schools with the opportunity to volunteer at local nonprofit agencies and gain first-hand experience in giving back to their community. 2nd Annual Pearly Baker Bash
Saturday, May 7th · 7pm
The Zeiterion Theatre
Nearly 70 people packed the Zeiterion Theatre for the 2nd Annual Pearly Baker Bash to enjoy some great music and to support United Way’s Hunger Commission! While the final bill is still being tallied, the concert raised thousands of dollars for local people in need. Attendees were also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the concert, garnering 2,000 lbs. of food that was distributed to local food kitchens and pantries. Thank you to our major even sponsors: Citizens-Union Savings Bank, Jules Ryckebusch, The Patrick Carney Foundation and RPI Printing, as well as Event Chairman Mark Montigny and everyone who donated, attended and brought food!
